Superbly
appointed accommodation
Built of Bargate stone and red brick with exposed timber
beams, the period farm house at Leylands Farm is indeed
the making of a picture post card. The self contained
annexe, with its separate access, provides luxury bed and
breakfast facilities over two storeys. Attractively
furnished, it includes a living/dining area on the ground
floor and period features such as exposed painted stone
walls and timber beam ceilings. Though centrally heated,
visitors are welcome to make use of the log fire burner
with an endless supply of logs. The timber clad,
galleried first floor presents one double bedroom with
en-suite bathroom. Television, telephone, fridge, tea
& coffee making facilities, plus a full continental
breakfast will make your stay at Leylands Farm
comfortable. This award winning accommodation at Leylands
Farm has been successfully running for many years and
with the friendly, luxurious service, at prices which are
excellent value for money, it has built up a well earned
reputation in the Surrey area.
So close and yet so far
Even if your stay at Leylands Farm is short, you will be
amazed at how quickly you can unwind and relax in the
idyllic, rural setting, deep in the Surrey Hills in
Abinger Common. Quite secluded, you would be forgiven for
thinking that you are miles away from anywhere; in fact,
you are only a short drive from the A25 that runs from
Guildford (approximately 10 miles away) and Dorking
(approximately 6 miles away). The A3 and M25 are both
within easy reach, no more than 11 miles away
respectively and provide easy access to London's Heathrow
and Gatwick airports. For rail services, Gomshall station
is less than 5 miles away and provides a destination time
to London Waterloo of less than 1 hour. Alternatively,
there is a further service in Dorking Town Centre, giving
more regular trains and a faster service from Guildford
(Waterloo) in 34 minutes.
